Paboon Cafe Pattaya

A Hidden Gem for Families

MAY 2024

Paboon Cafe Pattaya is located about 15 minutes from the heart of Pattaya, and with all the rave reviews on Google, I was curious to see what it was all about.

Liam, my 4-year-old, must have mentioned wanting to visit a playground about a million times since yesterday. I figured if we went to one, he might finally stop bringing it up. But after searching Google for nearby playgrounds, all I found were places with a single, worn-out slide. Not exactly what I had in mind.

That’s when I stumbled upon this café, which seemed perfect for kids.

Paboon Cafe Pattaya is an outdoor, nature-inspired café with an impressively large space. It felt like stepping into a beautifully maintained garden, with cute cartoon characters scattered around the property. Liam was thrilled from the moment we arrived, asking me to take pictures with him next to the characters. It was clear this was going to be a fun stop!

The outdoor area was a paradise for kids (and adults, too!). There were all kinds of animals roaming freely, a fun playground, and a large pond filled with colorful koi fish. Liam was absolutely fascinated!

Every corner of the café seemed designed for Instagram-worthy photos, with so many beautiful photo spots scattered throughout. It was impossible not to pause and snap a few pictures along the way.

It was so hot, and since we had already played earlier that morning, we were completely drained. Looking back, I regret not taking more of those beautiful photos. But honestly, this trip wasn’t about me—it was all for Liam. 😅

Paboon Cafe Pattaya isn’t just a café; it’s also a restaurant serving Thai food. Inside, there’s air conditioning (thank goodness!) and plenty of tables where you can sit and enjoy your drinks. I was so desperate for a caffeine fix that I downed my coffee without even thinking about taking a single photo!

The café was bustling with locals, which made me wonder if it’s a well-known spot for delicious Thai food. Most people seemed to be there for meals rather than just desserts. Speaking of desserts, they had a tempting selection of beautiful cakes and sweets. If you’re renting a car and can get around easily, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We had planned to come back another day for a proper meal, but somehow, it just didn’t happen, and I still feel a bit bummed about it.

Paboon Cafe Pattaya is a great café-restaurant combo with clean, tasty food, making it a perfect spot for dining with kids. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!

There was an area where ducks—or maybe they were geese—and rabbits shared the same space. Liam and I spent ages just watching them, completely losing track of time. It was such a simple but fun moment, just enjoying the animals together. 🐇🦆

The garden was absolutely stunning, like something out of a postcard. But with the heat and how tired we were, all the photos I managed to take ended up being rushed and… well, not my best work. 😅 It’s a shame because the place really deserved better pictures

The rabbits were so adorable, hopping in and out of their burrows like little bunnies on a mission. It was so cute to watch them bounce around! ^^

And yes, there were reptiles too! 🦎 Liam was especially fascinated by them, and it added even more excitement to the place. It was like a little wildlife adventure all in one!

Despite the scorching heat, Liam couldn’t resist joining the other kids and older kids at the playground. He jumped right in, running around with them until his face was all flushed from the fun! It was so cute to see him having such a blast, and you can totally tell from the photos how much he enjoyed it. 😄
