Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya
The Hidden Gem of Pattaya: A Perfect 2-Night, 3-Day Stay at Mövenpick Na Jomtien
Nobemver 2024
After having breakfast at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan Hotel, we packed our things and took the 9 AM pickup that I had booked in advance to Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Hotel in Pattaya. Our driver was a female, and she was bright, friendly, and drove safely. She even arrived 10 minutes early to pick us up and waited for us.
In Thailand, I’ve often seen drivers distracted by their phones, which can be dangerous, but not this driver. Even when a call came in, she immediately hung up and drove quietly and attentively.
Arriving at Mövenpick Na Jomtien Pattaya just after 11 AM, we were lucky to check in right away!
Once we checked in, we went straight to our room to change clothes and headed to the pool. Liam was the most excited since he hadn’t swum in a warm country like this for a while, coming from chilly Korea.
Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya may not have the newest facilities, but everything about this hotel was perfect for us. It was exactly what our travel style needed, and if you’re traveling with kids, this place is incredibly affordable with so many fun activities for them. Plus, you can enjoy beach activities right there in Pattaya! I felt like I discovered a hidden gem in Pattaya. If we come back to Pattaya next time, we’ll definitely stay at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien again!

Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya Location and Surroundings
Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya is located in the Na Jomtien area, to the south of Pattaya, Thailand. It’s a bit far from the city center, so there isn’t much around it, but the hotel has excellent amenities and the restaurant food is quite good, so you can easily take care of everything within the hotel. Plus, the pool and beach are directly connected, making it convenient to go back and forth for some fun. The area is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the water is clean, so it’s perfect for enjoying the beach.
Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya is a fantastic, kid-friendly hotel for families!
To get to the city center or shopping malls, you can take the hotel’s shuttle bus, or use a taxi, Grab, or Bolt. It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach Terminal 21 by car.

Swimming Pool
The depth of the main pool at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya was just right, about chest-high for adults. The pool was so spacious that even with many people around, it still felt peaceful. There’s a children’s water slide in the main pool.
Liam tried it once and loved it so much that he kept going up to ride the slide with his mom. I would wait at the bottom to catch him, and he must have gone down over 20 times!

Right next to the main pool, there’s a children’s pool with water that’s about chest-high for Liam, making it perfect for swimming and diving.
Next to that, there’s a water park-like area with a bucket that pours water and water guns, so Liam could run back and forth between the two. He could have played there all day without getting bored!

Whenever we got hungry from playing, we’d order lunch from the beach restaurant and then jump right back into the fun. On the first day, we spent over 5 hours just in the pool, and I wanted to go for afternoon tea, but Liam refused to leave the pool, so we ended up skipping it. There was also chocolate time, but even that couldn’t pull him away from the water—he was just having too much fun!
We got a 50% discount on meals with Accor Plus, so it didn’t feel like a big expense, and drinks were also about 15% off. Also, in Southeast Asia, Accor Plus welcome drinks for Silver and Gold members are non-alcoholic—only juices or coffee, not alcohol.

Here’s a picture of Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya from the beach! The weather was perfect, and it looked absolutely beautiful.
There are plenty of trees by the beach, and underneath them, there are tables and chairs or beach loungers, so you can relax comfortably in the shade. It was the perfect spot to unwind!
Premium Room Sea View
We booked a Premium Sea View room at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya, which included breakfast, afternoon tea, and lounge access.
To meet the $500 minimum required for travel insurance through my Australian credit card, I ended up booking a higher-priced room with everything included to hit that amount.
The room was very clean, spacious, and just as you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The bathroom was huge, and the jacuzzi looked great, but after spending the whole day swimming and having fun, I didn’t really feel like using it. In the evenings, I was more than happy to just lie in bed, scroll through my phone, and relax.
There was a sofa and table next to the bed, but since we had all our meals at the hotel’s restaurants, I didn’t have much reason to sit there and eat. :)

The view from the hotel room balcony was absolutely stunning — it was so beautiful that I couldn’t even find the right words to describe it.

레스토랑

We had lunch at the restaurant by the pool.

There were tables in the shaded area by the beach, with a gentle breeze blowing, and eating here was the happiest moment.
While Liam was playing in the sand, I sat under the trees watching him, and it made me wonder if there’s any other hotel as satisfying as this one.
Lounge
The lounge time at sunset was absolutely beautiful. I had a cocktail and enjoyed various snacks like canapés, cheese, and ham – just a few bites of these, and I was already full.
There wasn’t much to eat during afternoon tea, but it was perfect for a cup of coffee. The lounge had a great selection of drinks, and there were unlimited free alcoholic beverages along with light snacks. Just these snacks were enough to fill me up. I had planned to have a steak for dinner at the restaurant, but after spending time at the lounge, the sun had already set, and by dinner time, I wasn’t even hungry anymore, so I just had something light.

It felt so relaxing and wonderful to spend the whole day having fun and then watch the sunset with a drink in hand.
On the first day, I was so caught up in swimming and having fun that I missed afternoon tea. But I definitely couldn’t skip having a drink, so I convinced Liam to have juice and finally managed to get him to come back to the room. After a shower and a quick change, we made our way to the lounge, probably about 30 minutes before it closed. It was a bit late, but it was still totally worth it!

On the second day, we spent the morning swimming, then had lunch at the poolside restaurant. Around 3 p.m., we took a shower, changed clothes, and went to afternoon tea for a nice cup of coffee. Afterward, we headed to the kids’ cafe to let Liam have some fun. By 5 p.m., we were back at the lounge for some drinks and snacked on various finger foods.
Breakfast
Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya is a kid-friendly hotel, and they have a special kids’ corner at breakfast. They’ve gathered all the things kids would love, and it’s set up at a height that’s perfect for them to help themselves.
What I loved about the breakfast at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya is that there’s a lot of dairy products, and the continental breakfast spread is extensive. For someone like me, who prefers a simple breakfast, there were plenty of delicious options!

Kids Club
The kids’ club is small, but it has activities every hour, and Liam had a blast. He made a paper bag and even created a bracelet. I was surprised at how focused and happy he was while making them!

Play gound
The playground at the hotel was on a whole different level compared to the usual hotel playgrounds, which are usually small and suited for younger kids. This one was big enough for both little kids and teenagers to enjoy!
It was spacious, and some of the equipment even had age restrictions. The slide shaped like a cave, for example, had a minimum age requirement. On the first day, the staff seemed unaware of the rule, so they helped Liam ride it by bringing a bag. But on the next day, they said he was too young to go on it. Poor Liam!

Liam spent the entire day swimming, having dinner, playing by the beach, and then heading to the playground again. He literally didn’t stop playing from the moment he woke up until he went to bed!
By around 8 p.m. every night, he’d get so tired that he’d fall asleep right away without any fuss. 😄

Beach
If you walk down the path from the building, you’ll reach the beach!!
Liam absolutely loves playing in the sand…
He could easily spend 1-2 hours just playing in the sand, but the tricky part is the scorching sun—it gets so hot, and it can be exhausting… 😅

Liam loves bossing me around while playing in the sand—”Bring me water!” “Do this!” “Do that!” He’s such a little boss! 😄
We also went kayaking in the sea, and it was fun, but it gets so hot during the day that we couldn’t stay out on the water for too long.

We wrapped up our 2-night, 3-day stay at Mövenpick Siam Na Jomtien Pattaya with a relaxing evening at the lounge, watching the sunset. 😊
I had originally only booked 2 nights, thinking there wouldn’t be much around the hotel, but now I wish I’d stayed longer! Next time, I’m definitely extending my stay.
I came to Pattaya for the first time this May, without any particular expectations, but I was so pleasantly surprised. The city has everything—beautiful beaches, a nice shopping mall, and plenty of sights and activities to keep you busy. If you love seafood, Pattaya is a paradise with so many delicious options. Plus, it’s a super kid-friendly destination, with tons of activities for children, making it perfect for family trips. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
