Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya
Perfect Hotel for Families & Kids
Nobember 2024
Back to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya After 6 Months!!
When I visited back in May, I only stayed for 2 nights, and I felt it wasn’t enough, so this time I stayed for 3 nights!!
Above all, it’s a brand-new hotel, so it’s incredibly clean.
Below is the link to my travel story from May!!
Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya Review : with a 4-Year-Old
Moving from Mövenpick Na Jomtien Pattaya to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya
After spending 2 nights at Mövenpick Na Jomtien, I called an Uber to move to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya.
It took just a little over 20 minutes by taxi. There’s also Grab, but since I only used Uber in Australia, I stuck with Uber while in Thailand.
I’ve heard Grab is a bit cheaper, though.
When I moved from Mövenpick Na Jomtien to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya, it was clean, cool, and modern, which I liked. But after being in a quiet resort area, the lively atmosphere here felt a bit overwhelming.
It’s not the best place for a relaxing trip with my mom, but since Liam loved it so much last May, we decided to visit again.
I think Mövenpick Na Jomtien would have been a better choice for a stay with my mom and Liam for both.
Returning to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya
Liam absolutely loved it, as expected. It seems that kids really enjoy the space theme more than I thought.
Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya is not part of the Accor group, so everything needs to be paid for at full price.
Since I ate at the hotel the entire time at Mövenpick Na Jomtien, when I came to Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya, we went to Terminal 21 nearby for lunch and dinner and spent some time there.

He absolutely loved the space-themed stuffed animals and robots!
There are similar robots at Incheon Airport, but he was so fascinated by them that he followed them around without realizing it. ><
Location and Surrounding Environment of Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya
Location and Surrounding Environment of Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya
Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya is in a fantastic location for a family trip!
While it’s not right in front of the bustling beach, it’s actually a better place to stay quietly. It’s conveniently located close to major attractions, so you can easily move around while still enjoying a relatively peaceful atmosphere away from the busy downtown.
Pattaya Main Beach & Main Street – Just 5-10 minutes by Uber!!
Terminal 21 – Only a 5-10 minute walk, and it’s easier to walk because the roads in front of the shopping center are often blocked.
Once, when it was raining, I took an Uber to Terminal 21, and it took about 20 minutes.
During my last trip, when I was traveling alone, I used an Uber motorcycle to avoid the traffic, and it was super fast and convenient.
Taxi drivers know the hotel well, so it’s really easy to call an Uber or get back to the hotel.
Convenience stores – There are two 7-Elevens nearby, and there’s also a supermarket, which is really convenient. Plus, buying a SIM card at the convenience store is much cheaper!!
Laundry – There’s a laundry service just across the street from Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya. The lady there keeps her promises and does a great job! It’s not easy to cross the main road, but the laundry is very close to the hotel, which makes it really convenient
Facilities at Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya Hotel
Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya is well-equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool, kids’ club, mini golf, an in-hotel massage shop, and a restaurant.
The swimming pool, in particular, is at a water park level, and kids absolutely love it. It’s perfect for younger children, but older kids might find it a bit less exciting.

The first-floor swimming pool and kids’ club are always so busy, like a sparrow’s mill! We always end up spending 20-30 minutes there every time before moving on.

Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya has a huge outdoor jacuzzi. It’s the largest jacuzzi I’ve ever seen!
You might wonder why there’s a jacuzzi in a hot country, but because Space Pattaya has a lot of shade, the water is a bit cool. After swimming in the pool for a while, it gets chilly, so it’s really nice to warm up by spending some time in the jacuzzi.
But after being in the jacuzzi, when you go back to the pool, the pool feels at least 10 times colder…
For a mom who doesn’t swim or isn’t that active in the pool, it was great to have time to relax in the jacuzzi.

The mom who doesn’t swim tried the jacuzzi once, and then she joined Liam and me in the lazy river to play together.
We also had fun in the wave pool with Liam.
At Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya, the lazy river has single and double tubes, and we rode the double tube together, all three of us.
Last May, there were also triple tubes, but it looks like they’ve removed them, as there weren’t any this time.

Liam, who is still only 4 years old, couldn’t use the tube because it was too big for him, but he insisted on riding it. He ended up sitting like that, riding the waves and playing, but I was a bit worried it might flip over! 😅
Kids Club
The kids’ club at Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya has programs every hour that kids can join, and there are plenty of toys to play with. There’s also a PlayStation where they can play games, and this time, Liam got really hooked on the PlayStation. It was a bit challenging because he doesn’t even know how to play, but he couldn’t let go of it… and he kept asking to go to the kids’ club just to play games.

호텔 룸
Once again, he really loved that spot! 😄
Even though other hotels claim to be 5-star, their couches sometimes have stains, which can be a bit uncomfortable, but here, since it’s a brand-new hotel, everything is in pristine condition!

조식
Since I’ve been having breakfast at hotels every day, I’m starting to get tired of the same options…
As someone who doesn’t eat much in the morning, I preferred the breakfast at Mövenpick. They had more variety, like yogurt, bread, and salads, which are easy for me to eat.
At Grand Centre Point Space Pattaya, there were a lot of Asian guests, so the breakfast featured many Thai and Asian dishes. Since I don’t eat rice in the morning, I didn’t even bother looking at those options…

Liam enjoyed his breakfast, but then, while squirming in his chair, he suddenly threw up…
Since it was almost the first time Liam had ever thrown up, I was really shocked. I called over the staff, and they cleaned everything up. We had to take a car to Bangkok, so I asked the staff to pack two bananas just in case he might want to eat something during the ride. However, he didn’t end up needing them the whole way to Bangkok.
Fortunately, it wasn’t anything serious. After throwing up in the morning, he ate lunch happily, played, and had no other issues. I was really surprised when it happened during the trip, but I’m so relieved it wasn’t a big deal!

Mom, on the other hand, ate a lot at breakfast every time. Haha, I think she had 2-3 plates! After having so much cake and bread, I don’t know how she still had room for more…
Anyway, she definitely made the most of the breakfast! 😄
