Big C Supermarket in Thailand
Baby Essentials, Gifts, and Snacks
Big C Supermarket is one of the biggest supermarket chains in Thailand, and you’ll find them all over the place!
Just like in other countries, Thailand has its own major supermarkets, with Tesco, Tops Market, and Big C being some of the most popular ones.
During our trip, we decided to check out the Big C near our hotel in Pattaya. There’s also a supermarket inside Terminal 21 Pattaya, which was slightly cheaper.
But honestly, the price difference was tiny (just a few cents), so we went with Big C because they had way more variety.
We ended up buying gifts, snacks for ourselves, and all kinds of other fun stuff at Big C! 😊
Discounted Items

Big C Supermarket in Thailand has regular sales. You’ll spot the yellow tags on sale items, and if you focus on those, you can shop for even less!
Baby & Kids Products
Big C Supermarket in Thailand has a large section dedicated to baby and kids products, with a wide variety of items.
If you head to the household goods section, you’ll find toys, slippers, school supplies, and basically everything you’d see in a big supermarket back home.
When we first planned our overseas trip with Liam, I was really curious if they sold kids’ products at supermarkets. I didn’t have much information, so I ended up packing a ton of stuff. But when we got there, I was pleasantly surprised to find that diapers, baby wipes, and most other essentials were available locally. There were even many well-known international and Korean brands, so there was absolutely no need to worry!

There were also a lot of great pouches for travel, and the most classic ones, like from Haze, were available.
Even baby snacks from Korean brands were there!

Snacks & Gifts
Big C Supermarket in Pattaya, Thailand, during our visit, there was a big sale on European snacks and chocolates.
We ended up buying a lot of European treats.

I regret not buying more of those snacks…

I decided to try this because I saw a lot of recommendations online, but it wasn’t really to our taste.
It’s dried mango coated with coconut cream. I love anything made with coconut, but this one just wasn’t for me…

I wouldn’t recommend this one…!! It’s way too hard and tastes too artificial.

For the snack on the left, you should definitely get the ones coated in sugar. Those are the best!
The one on the right is a button-shaped chocolate made with cocoa and malt. It wasn’t bad, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
